Will my hair look natural after the hair transplant?

Natural appearance is obtained as a result of the hair transplant thanks to the techniques that have been developed in the recent period. Attention must be paid to the front hair line, the number of hair follicles (graft) and slits for placement of grafts for obtaining natural appearance after hair transplant.

First, hair line is determined in accordance with the features of the individual and shape of the head must be taken into consideration for a natural hair line. Hair follicles extracted one by one are placed in the slits opened for hair follicles in the recipient site. Direction and angle must be determined while opening these slits. In addition, the number of grafts should also be determined in advance.  Good examination and planning are very important before the operation. However, your hair is not expected to be as thick as your youth after the hair transplant. A good hair transplant must be selected for a good and natural result.

When can I start working after the hair transplant?

You can get back to your normal routine one day after the hair transplant. There is no medical concern. However, redness, cicatrices and slight swelling in the scalp are normal in the initial period following the hair transplant procedure. These symptoms will not stop you from working. The only down side is the possibility of drawing attention. 

You must avoid heavy work and sunlight when you get back to work. Hair follicles require a period of 10 days for adaptation to the recipient site. Therefore, you must protect your head from impacts. You can get back to work in the next day if you are careful about these considerations.

It is very important to determine the right number of grafts in accordance with the bald area for achieving a natural final appearance.

Usually, hair in our body have one follicle. Scalp hair exists in the form of groups with 1-2-3-4 follicles. These groups are called graft. For instance, if 3000 grafts are extracted from a person, it means 6000-9000 hair follicles can be obtained.
