Percutaneous Technique – Transes Hair Transplant

Hair Transplantation and Methods

Percutaneous Technique

Hair follicles (graft) harvested one by one from the donor site in the back of the scalp are transplanted in circular slits opened with thin needles, instead of slits that are opened with lateral cuts. An angle is created specific to each hair and placement is performed without damaging the hair root by opening thin slits depending on thickness of each hair. A natural appearance is obtained upon completion of the procedure.

Hair transplant with percutaneous technique takes longer time compared to other methods, as slits are opened based on the grafts. 1200-1400 grafts can be transplanted in each season. Hair transplant with percutaneous technique cannot be completed within one day; therefore, at least a period of at least 2 days is required.
